- Securing basic needs: funding food, medical care, schooling (including fees and uniforms) and the children's accommodation.
- Supporting the project on site: financial help for construction, building maintenance and the salaries of specialists such as teachers, carers and social workers.
- Public awareness and development aid: raising awareness of the situation of those affected, running fundraising campaigns and shipping relief supplies.

Annual report 2025
Governance and membership. In 2025, a focus was on maintaining the association's structures and the exchange required by the statutes. The annual general meeting was held online in accordance with the statutes, with 15 voting members attending. The board and the treasurer reported on the activities and the financial situation of the past year; discharge was granted after a positive report.
Project support “The Nest” (Kenya). The situation at the children's project on site was intense in 2025. The home was fully occupied throughout, so that at times every available bed was taken. Despite the high occupancy, the care of the children and young people remained stable.
Technical infrastructure. As a major technical project, planning began for replacing a broken battery storage of the school's solar system in order to secure The Nest's energy supply sustainably.
Personnel support and volunteering. Last year the association benefited significantly from volunteers who supported the project directly on site in Kenya. This volunteer commitment was an important pillar of day-to-day operations.
